Masterpiece London
Masterpiece London, held annually at Royal Hospital Chelsea, is an unmissable art fair at which visitors can view and buy the finest works of art, design, furniture and jewellery - from antiquity to the present day. The fair offers an unparalleled opportunity for new and established collectors to discover exceptional works for sale.
For the 2018 fair, Luke was commissioned by Masterpiece London to design a temporary private dining room to be used for events throughout the duration of the fair. Luke decorated and furnished the room with the idea of evoking the spirit of an English country house dining room in high summer.
Pastel stripes, classical columns, urns of flowers, a tented ceiling and an unusual colour palette of lime and lavender combined to create a strikingly colourful and whimsical setting for celebrating.
To complete the experience, Luke designed and illustrated a set of menus.
