Hotel Saint-Georges
In the heart of Megève, in Haute-Savoie, a stone's throw from the ski lifts and down the road from Mont Blanc, Hotel Saint-Georges is Luke's latest interior design project. A historic chalet, the hotel houses 29 bedrooms, a spa, a restaurant and a piano bar.

Soft and hushed by day and festive as night falls, Piano Bar Saint-Georges transforms throughout the hours. The bar offers a wide selection of cocktails. Guests can curl up by the fire, play chess, enjoy an aperitif, watch night fall... or retreat into the library to leaf through one of the many old books dedicated to the Alps. The carpet in here Luke based on a classic Welsh blanket design.

The interiors reflect Luke's love of storytelling, nature, and the wonders of folklore. The atmosphere of the place is inspired as much by Alpine mythology as by his own imagined adventures.

Le Trappeur, the restaurant of Saint-Georges, is housed in a dining room warmed by wood-panelled walls and murals depicting mountain scenes complete with lakes and snow-capped chalets painted by Pauline Leyravaud. A timeless bistro, Le Trappeur celebrates the great tradition of French cuisine with nods to the Haue-Savoie: leeks with egg mayonnaise, reblochon, apple galette.

Upstairs, bedrooms open onto snowy peaks or the village church tower. The rooms feature carpets depicting edelweiss flowers, sculpted desks inspired by mountain ridges, and fabrics in bespoke colourways by Christopher Moore, a maker of authentic copies of 18th and early 19th century French and English designs principally taken from the company's own archive.

Hotel Saint-Georges is operated by Chapitre Six. After Monsieur Georges, Hana, La Ponche, Le Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel and La Folie Barbizon, Hotel Saint-Georges marks the group's first alpine chapter.
