Luke has worked on many special projects over the past decade, from the creation of an immersive installation for a Milanese jewellery house during Milan Design Week to murals in a garden room in Provence and on the bottom of a swimming pool in Portugal, from the design of a safety curtain for English National Opera to illustrations for a new edition of E.M. Forster’s classic queer novel, Maurice.
From 2019 until 2025 Luke was a columnist for the Financial Times, answering readers’ questions on interior design and living well in FT Weekend. Luke has authored three books: Greco Disco: The Art & Design of Luke Edward Hall, A Kind of Magic: The Kaleidoscopic World of Luke Edward Hall, and, with Seán Hewitt, 300,000 Kisses: Tales of Queer Love from the Ancient World.
